Complain as I might, the world does not pause for my concerns. And I do complain. It turns out we cannot live forever in a tiny bubble away from everything until Spring. It turns out most people just get on with it. Amazing.
So ok, on we go. We will need to get some supplies, and will need to get some things done, but perhaps a re-entry into human existence is in order. So far today we have actually ventured out into the -39 weather and we plan to venture out yet again for groceries. The man-child had hockey, we finally checked into our favourite guitar shop, and we had another errand with a friend. We survived all.
The night is day, day is night thing that happens after a jet-lag experience is still going on which adds to the misery. Poor David cannot handle any questions more complicated than, want tea? He'll be ok. It's tough because after Australia, it feels wrong to be awake when it is awake time, and it feels impossible to sleep during normal sleepy time. Surely it will pass.
We have a fun new experience for tomorrow at the Floral Conservatory Valentine's Tea. That will be very good fun and I look forward to it.
And in between getting back to being human, there is tea. Want tea?
