So worth it! The geese get it. I don't know if you can see, but in this picture there are two sizes of goslings, two sets of kiddos from two parents. Geese do this thing where they help each other out and put all the little ones together so the parents get breaks from raising all the little ones. I LOVE that! And our Wascana Park humans are careful to make sure everyone is safe, no one gets run over, and even the dogs walking around aren't tempted to hurt anyone. It's such a lovely little supportive community.
Yesterday we did a radio interview with CJTR, our local community radio that supports independent artists such as ourselves and what a treat! We played on air and had some laughs with host Jeff Redbeard. Then we walked and walked and walked to find ourselves back at Bushwakker's to hear TDC play. We met some knew folks, bonded with some folks we already knew, and enjoyed the music and atmosphere that TDC brought.
It's good. All these undefinable bits that go into this thing where folks hang out and help each other where they can, but really we're all just having fun. I like it. Some very good folks to be around I'd say. A community even, but without the goslings.
