Happy Valentines Day to you. We are off to Bear River to help the folks celebrate there. Ha. I hope they like the things we have planned for them. It should be a fun show.
They are doing a 4 course meal at Tall Sips on Stilts where we are playing and it sounds all very fancy. I'm looking forward to spending time with these amazing people and having some fun.
Oh and the snow has stopped, the sun is out, and it should be a grand day.
I bet all the little kiddies at school are getting all their Valentines ready to exchange at school with their friends. I remember we all had made these little paper plate Valentine receiver things that you decorated up, then all the kids would put the Valentines they had prepared the night before in the corresponding paper plate things.
Then at the end of the day you would collect them up, read them, stress over whether you got as many as everyone else, worry that you might have forgot someone....then forget that and laugh at some of the stupid Valentine puns that were part of the whole thing. To be honest, I think I stressed over this whole thing more than I enjoyed it. It always made me feel inadequate for some reason.
I don't really do cards and things like that now. I still stress out about it...only occasionally, but I've stopped and I think I am happier for it.
Well hopefully the kids today will have fun with their Valentines. I'm pretty sure the teachers make sure they don't exclude anyone so that no one gets all worked up about being left out. I wonder what kind of theme Valentines they have now? Oh I bet they are all characters from Frozen. Blech.
Oh well. Happy day anyway, whatever you get up to for all of this. You know I love you.
