We made it. Flew from Glasgow, picked up the car from the Park n Fly at the Halifax airport, drove straight to Tatamagouche to pick up spaghetti supplies and beer, then on to our little house in River John.
I can't say we lasted through too many of those nice hoppy beauties though. We crashed early for almost a 12 hour stint. The morning this morning looks bright and beautiful to start all over again. Oh wait, it's a giant rainstorm with high winds and maybe thunder and lightening. Oh well.
It's a good day to stay inside and play some of the tunes we've missed playing I'd say. Work out some of the kinks of the new songs we're writing. Dig out the instruments that couldn't make the overseas voyage and have a good play.
Oh and I love the supplies we've got for an extended stay in the nest. We've got plenty of liquor and Ruffles to do us for a good spell. Plus some gorgeous veggies that we picked up from our local farm that sells stuff like that. Yellow beans! Oh how I have missed you fresh yellow beans. Let's just do that.
Have a good storm stay if you find yourself storm stayed. Make sure you've got supplies that will do ya.
