It's been quite a month for The Strange Valentines in the UK. I've lost count of the lovely people we met. Add to that the wonderful people we already knew... Then the fun we had playing and being stupid is shaping up to be a really sparkly memory.
I was going to do a sum up here, but I'm actually feeling quite floppy. We are in a Holiday Inn that is attached to the airport and we are just about to go over and sort ourselves out to fly home to Canada. Home baby.
Last night David and I sat outside the elevators with a bottle of wine and giggled at anything that struck us funny. In particular a huge golf party from the US came in and tried to fit giant golf bags into tiny elevators all at the same time. That was worth a titter.
Now my tummy is not thrilled about the prospect of flying and I'm not also sure how it felt about the giant beans on toast breakfast. For some unknown reason I seem to have stopped drinking coffee which is probably adding to my bodily protests. Why? It just feels wrong. It tastes funny and I haven't been enjoying it so I stopped.
Anyway, until next time you beautiful people of the United Kingdom, boy did we have fun.
