I don't think I can actually go out there, but here is a picture of my neighbours little sapling to give you an idea. In reality everything is covered in this crystalline frosty layer of pretty. It is actually spectacularly beautiful. This is a result of our day of freezing fog that Regina had yesterday. What a weird day where fog freezes into this coating of frosty stuff that sticks to everything. Here is my front view that you might see what the trees are looking like a little better.
The only thing is it is also a little slippery in lots of places.
And so, David is back from his Australian passport interview in Vancouver, and we are back at recording again. Back at minimizing again in preparation for moving, and back at working on the video for 'It Seems Like You're Crazy'. What an interesting three things to be busy with.
Our wall is still in the process of becoming beautiful for the new owners. There is a guy coming to finish the painting and that sort of stuff today as well. I can't believe we start moving next Monday. It's going to be a gradual move, since we are still within the city, we can move our non daily items first and within a week have everything else moved.
I'm really excited about moving into a smaller place, I just love the idea of managing with less and cleaning less. Plus the freedom of renting for travel and whatnot is very lovely to think about as well.
Remember your first place? Mine was a crappy apartment in a crappy part of Dartmouth, NS. What adventures we've had since those days. I wonder what David's first place was? Some place in Australia I guess probably. I must ask him. Maybe today is a good day to just remember that place and think of the life you've lived since those days. I know I've gathered up a fair bit of experiences since then. I expect we all have. A few boots to the head. A few lessons learned too.
Happy Day :)
