Wednesday night Folk. Love it. Last night was a songwriter's of Regina night, where three featured artists got up and played their creations. What a fun night. I loved hearing the stories and music that people write. I highly recommend live music for enjoyment of life. Especially original live music.
People have different styles and different interpretations and yes of course, different perspectives. It makes for some really interesting and provocative music. Oh people.
Last night we had Kendra Hope, William John Stewart, and Jaecy Bells. All quite varied, all with original creations, and all entertaining. I enjoyed myself immensely. After an entertaining evening of song, I then proceeded to launch myself onto the pavement from the exit door of Bushwakkers. Oops. I landed pretty spectacularly too I must say. I was mid conversation in a group of people just as I was about to introduce myself to Jaecy. There I went, a trip, followed by a mid air arc and completely down on the sidewalk. And. I must add, I had not had a single drink preceeding such a display. Ech....
Oh dear. I can always seem to embarrass myself it would seem, drinking or no.
Ach well, no harm done, she's back up and functional, moving on. It's a beautiful Thursday to see what can be. It's a hairdo day for me at my favourite place 'The Junction'. I do love to spend some time with the amazing humans that are there.
Have a great day,
