They have passionfruit here in Australia, but it is not like anything I have ever seen before. They look like an old horrible potato when they are sitting in the fruit bowl but when they are cut open they look like this....! And maybe that doesn't look like anything to you, it certainly didn't to me,,,,well actually now I'm thinking they look a little like frogs eggs...ewww...Nevermind that, take a spoonful of that yellow guck and put it in your mouth, you will feel a taste explosion unlike anything you may have ever experienced. Whoa....
Obviously this is why they must have decided that this unlikely thing is called a passionfruit. Unassuming and even ugly on the outside, but inside reveals unexpected juicy passionate tart-and-sweet-at-the-same-time flesh. Wow wow wow. Sounds like a passionate experience to me. They tell me these little tart little numbers don't export to other countries so this may explain why I have never seen them. So rare now too. They are just getting more and more desirable by the second.
Today we are being whisked away in this boat somewhere to parts I'm not exactly sure. It sounds perfect and I'm a little glad to have it be somewhat of a surprise.
And there is a crow somewhere I can't see with an evil laugh. He sounds like haw haw haw haaaawwww....haw haw haw haaawwwww.... He sounds like he is celebrating some evil deed or else forecasting and evil curse on someone. A perfect way to start the day.
