You're such a lovely one. The 10th video (for the song Going Back to Halifax) is released today from our album Society of Good Intentions. Can you believe we made it to month 10? When we said we'd do it, it seemed like kind of pie in the sky mouth flapping, but here we are.
I really like this song. It represents such an important time in mine and David's life, and we got to make the video with so many of our dearest friends. I think this one is going to be a little special.
The song described as 'A folk song about long-distance love between the UK and Halifax, NS; a pretty melody, guitar, mandolin, and the beautiful city of Halifax are featured in this memorable and reminiscent story song'.
And indeed for years when I lived in Halifax and David in the UK, we made the most of the time we had together, making trips across the ocean as often as we could. I'm so glad we have such a nice song and video to remember this time with now too. I sure hope you guys like it.
And in today's news we have a new deal with the US and Mexico that I am a little bit afraid to ask about, and there is this ugly white stuff outside on the ground this October 1st.
Someone mentioned it is International Coffee Day, let's start that celebration, shall we?
