Are great! David and I wandered down to Bushwakker's last evening for a great night of Saskatchewan artists sharing their songs and stories for Wednesday Night Folk. Here are three of the featured artists that we enjoyed listening to. What fun. They did it songwriter circle style where they take turns telling the story that goes with their song, and then playing it. I love hearing original songs from the heart, and there was no shortage of that. I really enjoyed myself and I think David did too.
It's so nice to be able to walk around the city again too. Oh I have my winter coat on, that's not the point. Yes, I do have my big hat, and my gloves...again, not important. The point is that we can do it. Windy or no, chilly or no, it is fit for humans again. We can do it. Never have I appreciated just being able to go somewhere on foot as much as this year. Hallelujah Spring. Thank you so much.
It turns out I am the hold up getting the lyric booklet ready for production....doh! I hate when I am the screwup. I much prefer when someone else makes a mistake and I can be nice about it. Damn it. Oh well. I think we are back in business now that I have realized the problem. Stupid stupid stupid...
In any case, please enjoy your day and may I add that we all screw up sometimes and we probably should forgive ourselves as much as we are forgiving to others. Yeah.
