Oh it was a hot 37 degrees in the shade with around 80% humidity yesterday in Halifax. The Pride parade was happening as well as tons of other events in the city. It was hard to even move to even find a cool place to sit. We figured everyone would be looking for air conditioning and ready for music by the time we went on at 7 for our third and final show of the Old Triangle trio of shows. But honestly I think most people were pooped out by that time.
We ended up with a smaller number of folks and a more quiet, much less rambunctious energy for the last night. It was a totally different vibe from the previous two nights, but it ended up being kind of special in a different way. The people that came out were very much in the mood to listen and engage with us. So in that spirit, we played some songs just for them and had kind of a more intimate kind of show.
All in all three very different but fun filled nights in Halifax, so I do thank you beautiful city, Old Triangle pub, and good people that were part of it for being part of my life these past three days.
Today I think David is looking hot and somewhat wilted even still. He denies it, but look at him. Yeah, I think he's a bit even bothered looking. Anyway, happy Sunday all you guys.
