Whoa! Well that was so fun! Here is David before our evening started, when we really didn't know what to expect. We thought we'd have a beer and just get settled in a bit. Then we met Theresa and her band of musicians that would begin to shape the evening.
The evening's music began with some lovely tunes sung and played by Theresa Porter, David Graves, and a couple of other very talented folks that I can't remember their names just now, sorry. They did have some really nice harmonies and interpretations of some songs that the crowd really responded to. Very nice guys.
Next we played about an hour long set of some original and some select covers as we tend to do. The room was filled with lovely supportive people and it was really fun.
Then the blues guys got up. They call themselves the Resonators and they had some really nice blues tunes to round out the evening. I love music so much. It was so awesome to hear, play and share with other folks who love music just as much as we do. For an unknown entity, we sure had some fun. I love when that happens.
Then we drove the two hours to Dartmouth to crawl into bed at my darling cousins house. Thank God for darling cousin. We tried and failed to find food on the way home, but alas. No food to be found. For some unfortunate reason I decided on corn twists as an alternative and my tummy still regrets that decision. Oh well.
