Here is David wishing it wasn't over, or else he's trying out a new look. Yeah uke circle! Queen City Ukes! These people are fantastic. The uke circle 5 year birthday was last night and a beautiful time was had by all as far as I could tell. Oh sure, there was cake and grapes, but there was also some beautiful songs done open mic like sort of style that really touched me. Such fun. Then a sing a long before heading out for adult beverages.
My neck is stiffened into a difficult robot posture for some reason. Uke circle was just the distraction I needed. I think reading my book got me. I had been reading 'The Girl on the Train' and it got kind of suspenseful. I couldn't stop. I was tensed into this weird position hoping the main character would stop herself from doing something stupid. She seemed to do what she wanted in spite of whatever horrible position I got into. Now I have a sore neck for no useful purpose whatsoever. Pointless and painful.
But today is Wednesday and that means I get to go to the guitar shop for the day. Tonight we play at Bushwakker's some fine folk music for the fine folks that come out to listen.
Happy hump day
