Well, it was a sleepy morning and flight.... The Regina airport had a Tim Horton's line that was longer than the security line! And that was at least a hundred people deep! Oh and then on the plane I accidentally walked in on a poor guy using the toilet...yeah, but you have to lock the door right?! How could I possibly know....yikes. I think it embarrassed the life out of both of us. Anyway, we landed and now here we are in rainy Vancouver! We will have a couple of days to explore before heading on our NZ/Aus excursion across the planet. God but it felt early.
I am sure we will get up to something. It is a beautiful city that I have never explored! I can hardly wait to see what is what, rain or no rain!
It was so lovely to have an East Coaster on the desk at the hotel too. After we got off the train from the airport some very well meaning woman gave us directions in the opposite direction we were meant to be heading. Which is fine...really, not too far off course. Except it is raining and I have my hands full of Irish bouzouki and mandolin with a back pack weighing down my neck. Ach. It was nice to hear a fellow Blue-noser from Lunenburg no less! She was lovely to us and now we have a room upgrade and free brekkie. My neck is feeling better already.
Ach yes indeed, life is all good. Good dear good. I'll let you know how we go. Maybe try and get a better pic of poor David. hehe.
